Coupled with the recent push to further decentralise all areas of the project, XX Council member Bulldog and others have lobbied original team members and the Foundation for permission to relinquish control of the official Telegram channel. This has now been granted, with details below from the Foundation.
For several years the channel has been a dependable source of information and updates but has lacked the relaxedness of narrative which allowed community spirit to grow. The original team rightly had to protect their interests when building out the network under legal entities, but now there are many disparate teams and folks contributing to the project, it makes sense to be able to talk openly about all aspects of it, including the price.
I’m particularly looking forward to the place being a bit more busy and fun, hopefully driving more folk into the ecosystem to take a look at how they can add value themselves.
I have also accepted the offer (non compensatory!) to help out so am an admin on there now too, along with these other community members Bulldog, Gbtc, Denom, HodL Bey.xx, Test, Steve and BadgerOfHoney.
