XX Foundation Releases Q3 Recap

In a series of posts on X, and in full on Haven, the XX Foundation has gone over many of the items within the Q3 Roadmap and their progression, plus mention some other initiatives in the pipeline. It is republished below in full:

We’re excited to share the milestones from Q3 2024 and highlight the larger vision of building a decentralized, privacy-first ecosystem. It’s been an incredible quarter of growth and progress for the xx Network! Here’s a look at what’s been accomplished:

Our ongoing mission: To empower individuals & businesses with tools that ensure data privacy, security, and digital sovereignty. It’s not a quick turnaround, but it’s a journey we’re all committed to—and it can’t be done in isolation.

This quarter’s achievements and ongoing projects are aligned with the long-term strategy for the xx network in 4 key areas:

Each initiative is a building block towards creating a sustainable, decentralized future.

1️⃣ Financial Ecosystem

The financial ecosystem is the backbone of any blockchain. Expanding xx Network’s ecosystem drives liquidity, accessibility, & adoption. In Q3 2024, there’s been significant progress on this front. Let’s break it down.

• We launched the Ethereum Bridge App, enabling seamless asset transfers between xx Network & Ethereum. This major step towards cross-chain interoperability increases the utility of xx coins & opens the door for multi-chain solutions.

🌐 CrowdSwap Integration (October)
Coming soon! The integration with CrowdSwap simplifies cross-chain swaps & enhances liquidity. Coupled with an incentivized campaign, users will be able to participate in a WXX liquidity pool on Binance Smart Chain (BEP20).

🪙 WXX on PancakeSwap (November-December)
PancakeSwap will reduce transaction fees & barriers to cross-chain swaps! Soon, users will be able to access WXX tokens on PancakeSwap, driving adoption & boosting liquidity across the xx ecosystem. Low fees = better accessibility.

🏦 Tier-1 Exchange Negotiations (Ongoing)
Work continues on a Tier-1 exchange listing. Community growth and improvement in metrics like social media, wallets, and trading volume are paramount. A T1 will increase liquidity, attract investors, & solidify xx Network’s position in the global market.

🌟 Long-Term Goal
Building a robust financial ecosystem for xx Network to drive adoption, liquidity, and cross-chain interoperability. This infrastructure will support DeFi projects, expand utility, and grow xx coin’s presence across blockchains.

2️⃣ dApp, Crosschain & Business Use

Decentralized applications (dApps) showcase the real-world value of our privacy & security infrastructure. By fostering dApp development, we’re helping developers build solutions on xx Network. Here’s what’s new:

🚀 Phoenixx.io Beta Launch
Phoenixx is evolving into a decentralized platform for secure content creation & sharing. Its privacy-first approach demonstrates the power of xx Network. Ongoing development will further enhance its utility.

🛡️ Haven
Haven offers censorship-resistant, anonymous social interactions. It empowers users to engage in group chats without surveillance or moderation, aligning perfectly with xx Network’s privacy-first mission.

🛡️ Proxxy
Proxxy uses cMixx to protect user metadata when interacting with Web3 apps. By preventing RPC providers from tracking IPs & transaction patterns, it ensures user anonymity when connecting to blockchains.

📁 Doxxier Grant Project
Doxxier enables secure, large file transfers over cMixx. We’re working on proof-of-concept & code frameworks for privacy-centric applications that protect sensitive info better than traditional networks.

Expanding dApp development on xx Network provides real-world applications that prioritize privacy & security. Our tech empowers dApps with security and user sovereignty at their core.

3️⃣ Community Engagement and Incentivization

A strong community and a solid network infrastructure are key to xx Network’s success. In Q3 2024, we made exciting strides in both areas. Let’s dive into how we’re building for scalability & engagement👇

🎮 Memefi Campaign
Our Memefi campaign sparked explosive community growth across social platforms. By gamifying interactions, we grew our xx Network family globally. Fun, engagement, and adoption are core to our community’s success!

📈 Global Community Growth
From Turkey to Nigeria, our global outreach is driving xx Network adoption worldwide! Packed events and local engagement strategies are building connected, strong communities.

💻 xxDK Hackathon
We launched the xxDK Hackathon to encourage development across multiple programming languages (Javascript, Go, Rust, Android, iOS). We’re fostering a vibrant dev community around privacy-focused applications.

4️⃣ Network Infrastructure

🔧 Postage 1.0
Postage 1.0 is crucial for node payments, ensuring our decentralized infrastructure remains sustainable. We’re making it easier for nodes to get paid & contribute to the health of the network.

🌐 cMixx+/Zanzibar Development
Ongoing work on cMixx+ will bring enhanced anonymity & metadata protection for transactions and communications, ensuring xx Network’s privacy infrastructure leads the way.

Expanding the xx Network’s core functionalities & infrastructure will ensure scalability and privacy for future growth. We’re laying the groundwork for a decentralized, privacy-centric future.

As Q3 comes to a close, this recap reaffirms intentions set in some cases throughout the year and even beyond, so there’s a lot still in the pipeline. If a Q4 roadmap is forthcoming, it will be published here on release.
