A much anticipated roadmap for the first quarter of the year was released on the 17th January from the XX Foundation, giving hints at what we can expect to be released over the coming weeks and months.
The highlights appear to include:
- The grants reboot which was already announced earlier this month
- The release of the echoexx alpha
- Both a DEX and CEX listing, the former being with the newly wrapped wxx ERC20 token
- Continual updates to the xxDK to help developers working on the platform
- VoteXX featuring in there, where Mário recently hinted about a real-world election pilot
- ‘Marketing partnerships’ – bit vague but hopefully we’ll hear more or just see things ramp up a bit!
- The eventual release of the EVM bridge to turn the wxx back to XX Coin, but seemingly creeping into the next quarter potentially.
- Not least, a cMixx+ partner project announcement which already has 3 million users waiting to hear how XX/cMixx+ can benefit them.
It’s also been hinted that along the way will be further announcements of grant awardees and new projects/research being undertaken as a result. Lots to look forward to and no doubt more happening before Q2.
