XX Network Q3 Roadmap Released

On 10th July 2024, the XX Foundation released their intentions for the three months ahead in the usual quarterly roadmap.

Within the roadmap there are 11 key stated aims:

The Ethereum Bridge App: Long awaited, the bridge at https://bridge.xx.network has launched as of 16th July and turns native layer-1 XX coins into wrapped WXX on the ETH network and back again.
Memefi Partner: A marketing initiative brought new users to XX’s social channels by incentivising them to complete tasks in this extremely engaging app. The initial outreach was targetted at their 8m+ users.
WXX on Pancake Swap: A pool is to be created shortly for listing WXX on Pancake Swap. The bridge proposed to get WXX on BSC will be PortalBridge.
xxDK Hackathon: In a few weeks a special event is taking place at a university to bring more devs into the XX Network ecosystem and developing with the xxDK. More details will be announced closer to the event.
Crowdswap Integration: This neat app allows for frictionless swapping of crypto assets and will be shortly integrated within key XX Network web properties as an easy entry point for new users.
Community Growth Model: The XX communities on Telegram for the countries listed are already growing at a fast pace and multiple initiatives forthcoming from those communities to reach more people are being essentially A/B tested to set a standard for future growth in more regions. Marketing for the over all community and separate regions continues.
cMixx+: The long anticipated ‘add on’ for XX Network nodes to run which allows for some extremely innovative cryptography to deliver true web3 experiences of identity and data management. An interview with Robbie from the Foundation is to be conducted to talk at length of these developments in due course.
Worldcoin Wave0 Complete: This is specifically about the ‘Traffic Anonymizer’ part of the Worldcoin grant projects which is complete. It required work in Rust to be undertaken by Rick and his team. There will be a demo to see the completed work in action with more coverage here when announced.
Phoenixx Beta Launch: The project for web3 payments and messaging will enter beta phase with many new features as listed on their website. The team are anticipating massive future growth and are in the midsts of doing some of the less exciting bureaucracy for a legal entity and agreements within it.
Postage 1.0: Hugely anticipated and ties in to the continued development of Phoenixx which is likely to be the first dApp to necessitate it. It was first announced last year. The node payments bot will be a Foundation maintained system to compensate nodes for running rounds on cMixx which interact with postage-paid applications, for which Phoenixx will be the first. More details on that with emerge when it happens.
T1 Exchange Listing: An ambitious end to the roadmap, implying a potential (but of course never guaranteed until it happens) Tier-1 exchange listing, apparently now being negotiated.
