XX Network Working with Secret Network For Enhanced Privacy

On November 26th 2025, Secret Network announced that they are working with the XX Network:

Launched in 2020, Secret Network is a blockchain built around the idea that some things in crypto should stay private. Instead of broadcasting all data publicly, Secret uses encrypted smart contracts so the inputs, outputs and state of an application remain hidden from the outside world. Secret relies on secure hardware (trusted execution environments) to run contract logic privately while still proving it was executed correctly. The result is a chain where things like balances, personal data, or AI inputs can be processed without being exposed to the entire planet.

Where XX Network potentially comes in is the network layer. Secret protects what happens inside a contract, but it doesn’t stop the usual metadata leaks that happen when you send a transaction: your IP address, timing patterns, routing information, and other breadcrumbs that advanced analytics can use to unmask you. That’s the hole XX fills. cMixx is designed to break the link between sender and message using layered encryption, batching and shuffling.

Put together, the two networks create something far more powerful than either alone: private computation + private communication. Secret keeps your data confidential during execution; XX hides the fact you were the one interacting with the chain in the first place. If the collaboration goes where it looks like it’s headed, we may get a genuinely end-to-end private Web3 stack, a place where your messages, your transactions and your data are shielded from the increasingly nosy world watching over our digital lives.
